Meet the Presenters
Kath Fielden
Kath is a Senior Family and Relationships Lawyer with more than 16 years’ proven success in securing just and equitable family law outcomes for clients and their families. Kath has worked as a private family law practitioner and as a family law solicitor for NSW Legal Aid and Hunter Community Legal Centre. Kath also developed an award-winning early intervention program for the NSW Department of Communities and Justice to strengthen the capacity of at-risk families.
Stefan Mueller
Qualified as a legal practitioner by the Ministry for Justice Baden-Württemberg in Germany, Stefan worked as in-house counsel for a national peak body, the German Council of Trade Unions until he migrated to Australia in 2003.He obtained his Australian legal qualification while working as in-house counsel for a major trade union in Sydney and was admitted as a solicitor in 2010. Prior to being called to the Bar in 2017, Stefan worked as a solicitor in private practice, mainly in employment law. Since being called to the Bar, he has expanded his practice areas, particularly in family law, compensation law and civil ligation. Stefan is based in Newcastle where he lives with his family, but also practices from Denman Chambers in central Sydney.
