What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 6+ years PAE with demonstrated expertise in estate planning, litigation, family provision claims, and probate and administration.
- A well-established professional reputation and a strong referral network.
- Leadership or management experience within a legal team or small firm.
- A strategic mindset with a commercial approach to practice development.
- Specialist Accreditation in Wills & Estates (desirable) or a strong interest in obtaining it.
- A client-focused approach grounded in integrity, empathy, and results.

Your Role
As our Senior Legal Secretary – Personal Injury, you will play a crucial role in providing high-level secretarial support to our Personal Injury Practice Lead and legal team. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing diaries and coordinating appointments to ensure all deadlines and important dates are met.
- Performing general office duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, typing, and document formatting.
- Meticulously updating information into the LEAP system on strict deadlines.
- Overseeing file management, including organising correspondence, court documents, and expert reports.
- Collating letters, annexures, and letters of instruction for expert witnesses.
- Preparing correspondence, letters, and court documents.
- Arranging expert appointments, mediations, and informal settlement conferences, along with related correspondence.
- Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all communications.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a law firm or a solid understanding through legal studies, coupled with a background in a confidential secretarial role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and high-level customer service.
- A highly organised multi-tasker who can work autonomously, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines with precision.
- A proactive collaborator who thrives in a team setting while consistently managing individual responsibilities.
- Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience with LEAP Legal Software is highly regarded or the ability to quickly acquire new skills.
