Catherine Foster is a Clinical Consultant and Registered Nurse with more than 34 years’ experience across clinical practice and senior healthcare leadership.
Her background spans Critical Care nursing, including ICU, Emergency Department and CCU. Emergency nursing was her professional focus for 13 years, where she progressed through roles including Clinical Nurse Specialist, Emergency Department Coordinator, and ultimately Service Manager and Director of Nursing of Emergency.
Catherine later served as State Director for Forensic Medicine with NSW Health, working closely with the State Coroner, NSW Police and the NSW Trustee and Guardian for five years. She subsequently held the role of General Manager of a Residential Aged Care Facility before returning to NSW Health as Nurse Manager of Medical Imaging, including Interventional Radiology, for six years.
She brings extensive clinical, governance and executive experience to her role as Clinical Consultant.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband and grandchildren, gardening, catching up with friends, and focusing on her health and wellbeing.
